In February 2000, there was a meeting at Ponta Preta in Cape Verde, a famous kiteboarding location. Those present included all the best international kiteboarders, contest organisers, and competition judges. After wide consultation about kiteboarding’s future, the interests of riders and importantly, what they would like to see in a kiteboarding magazine, Stance was born. Stance is a top end kiteboarding magazine based on good quality images. The content is oriented around competitions, rider profiles, and following the development of the port, including new moves inspired by pro-riders. Stance is an independent magazine; our strength lies in flexibility and reactivity, our presence in popular kiteboarding areas, our comprehensive understanding of the industry as well as a solid reputation among the kiteboarding community. Through this Stance is now setting the standard for kiteboarding magazines on the international scene.
